This weekend, at the K-124 Days exhibition, Koxx officially unveiled their new competition model, the Kloud. It joins their range just below the famous Sky, and is aimed at a wider audience: its geometry, equipment and price is less ‘elitist’ than that of the Sky, meaning that it is a successor of sorts of the Hydroxx. Available in 26” and 20” versions, it is a classy looking bike that has already gained enthusiastic praise from those that have seen it. For those of you who can’t make it to the K-14 Days exhibition, here are some photos of each model and some info on the geometry etc. It is a bike that is less extreme than the Sky, with a more reasonable geometry, but that is still well-adapted to modern competition trials. There are some similarities with the top-of-the-range Sky, such as the top and head tubes. The downtube is different though, with a nice curve at the front end. Check out the photos below. More are available on the Koxx websote. A quick note on the specification of the bikes in the photos: this is not the definitive production model and the spec will probably change.
