Last April Thibaut Marriaux presented the first images of the prototype competition 20” developed by the TMS / Bikevision team, the “Twenty”, along with an impressive video of Nicolas Luque’s first ride on it (check it our here). Last month we unveiled first images of the Twenty frame in its different finishes as well as the different full bike versions that would be available. The Twenty retains the lines of it’s big brother, the Evo 3, with it’s curved tubes that help to increase the stiffness of the front end (the top and down tubes are welded together along a 10cm contact point) and give the bike a unique look. The stays are made form a cingle tube bent into an arc around the wheel with a booster welded on top: this means that rear-end stiffness is optimal. The Twenty also retains the major innovation of the 26” version, the “Quick Tensioner Concept”, revised and adapted for the 20” frame.
This new bike is already available from the TMS Pro Shop. Here, in exclusivity, are the first photos of a complete Twenty, which came out of the workshop a couple of days ago.It is kitted out with UN components (the same that come on the Quark II) as well as the latest Hope Race Trial discs, still in the prototype stage: they weigh in at just 280g and are simply the lightest brakes on the market, currently being tested by the TMS team. For Try-All fans, a version of the bike will be available with components form the French brand for the same price of €1890 with Magura Louise 2011 brakes and €1990with the latest Hope brakes. A more entry-level version is currently being looked into, based on the Atomz premier, but with dual discs.
