On the first of July, out partner TMS announced the development of a new 24" model, aimed at pure street riding, the Combo... It’s a name that’s been well thought out for a bike which is designed for a style of riding that mixes pure BMXy street with urban trials, and for which 24" is almost a necessity.
Thibaut Marriaux also announced that a range of 24", 100% TMS products including rims, hubs and spokes would be available in a couple of weeks... and here they are! The TMS shop has just taken delivery of a shipment of the new parts, most of which can already be found in their online shop.
First of all, for the hard and fast street riders among you, the TMS 24" rims are 42mm wide with round holes and are available in a wide range of colours. There are also some new 26" rims with rectangular holes, aimed at natural riders who want the lightest of the light. Also for them, there is a new 140mm BB, designed to aid crank clearance, a superb half-link chain that comes in white and weighs next to nothing and a now ultra-light 28 hole TMS hub (just 89g!). The TMS stems have been redesigned and now feature the brand’s new logo. The new TMS "Bike Vision" logo, which also features on the new orange "Bike Vision" and green "Trials Vision" T-shirts, also available now.
