Following on from the success of the Fourplay Pro bike, Inspired Bicycles is pleased to announce that the Fourplay will also be available as an upgraded Team specification bike (in Gloss Red or Shot Blast Silver). Key component highlights include top quality Hope Pro 2 EVO hubs, custom Hope Tech 3 Trial brakes, Inspired Lock-On Grips and Team pedals.
The Inspired Fourplay Team allows riders to push the limit every time they get on their bike. Key component upgrades over the Fourplay Pro allow the bike to perform at the highest level without the top of the range price.
Geometry highlights include shorter chainstays and lower bottom bracket height, which help to improve the manoeuvrability and responsive handling of the bike making it more focused for modern street riding. The front of the frame features butted tubes to help reduce weight whilst strength is maintained by using external top and down tube gussets.
To increase strength, stiffness and tyre clearance the Fourplay uses a development of the proven one-piece forged bottom bracket and chainstay yoke found on the previous model. Excess material has been removed from this area to help reduce the weight while shortening the chainstays and maintaining the associated performance benefits.
The rear of the frame features exclusive-design seat and chainstay tubing that improve both crank and heel clearance. On the left side of the frame, a forged disc mount combines with an additional gusset and bracing tube to create a solid mount for the rear brake. The custom, forged Inspired dropouts and neat integrated tensioner mount help to maintain the clean and stylish look of the frame as well as allowing easier removal and installation of the rear wheel. Improved weld angles at the dropout and tubing contact area help to maximise strength.
Using components from some of the world’s leading manufacturers results in a bike that is capable of performing at the very highest level of street riding. Steering is handled by custom, colour matched, Inspired Team fork (7075 Steerer), Trialtech 3D forged stem, Inspired 7075 high riser handlebars and lock-on grips. Drivetrain components are Truvativ Hussefelt trials crankset, super grippy Inspired Team platform pedals, KMC chain and an exclusive Trialtech Single Sided Sprung chain tensioner. Custom Hope disc brakes front and rear offer excellent braking power in all weather conditions and improved control, helping riders to develop a smoother and more accurate style. The wheels are 100% handbuilt in the UK using Sapim Race double butted spokes, Inspired Team drilled rims and Hope Pro 2 hubs front and rear.
