Koxx have been the world leaders in trials for ten years now: a title that many others would like in this expanding market, but that rests well within the French company’s grasp. They are still dominating the trials world with Koxx riders on pretty much every world or national podium and riders the world over kitting their bikes out with Koxx kit. Koxx have decided to take a new direction for their tenth anniversary!
2009 was a great year for them on the comp circuit, but they had a few problems with their suppliers: Their flagship bikes, the Sky range, weren’t delivered on time and didn’t make it onto the market until the beginning of 2010. But these bikes, developed with the help of some of the world’s best riders, are at the very tip of innovation and technology. Their strong points: Ultra-light aluminium, rigid and responsive, a completely cut-away headtube that lightens the front end considerably, numerous CNC machined pieces and other reinforcements that have been thought out down to the finest details. The main weak point: these beauties aren’t cheap; you have to spend up to €2,500 to be able to own one of these famous bikes!
It is on this point that Koxx are doing an about-face: They are dropping their prices! The Skys will now be among the cheapest top-of-the-range bikes on the market! The evolution of the K-124 group’s working methods, new suppliers, lower productions costs etc. mean that the group are able to transfer these savings to the buyer by lowering the prices of their products! The Skys are now available for just under €2,000 (the full HS33 26” models are now €1,899 and the 20” is €1,599!). The Hydroxx follows suit (from €1,299 for the 20" and €1,599 for the 26” model!)… The new prices can be seen below! For more info on these bikes, head over to the Koxx website.
