Winter is the sime when the top trials riders start new sponsorship negotiations with companies, capitalising on the results of the past season and to prepare for the next one. Until recently there had been no big moves, even if there had beena few rumours here and there. But then the market leaders in trials competition, K-124 / Koxx announced two big changes to their line up, the first to their 20” team and the second to their 26” team: the departure of Vice World Champion and Vice World Cup Winner Abel Mustieles and the arrival of German Champion Hannes Hermann, who finished the 2011 season in fifth place in the UCI classification.
Abel Mustieles leaves Koxx
After several years of fruitful collaboration, Abel Mustieles and Koxx have not renewed their partnership.
This decision was not an easy one to take for either party, but the time has come for the rider to look to new horizons after a faultless partnership.
Abel, equipped with our cutting edge bikes and parts, dominated the junior category before making a fantastic transition into the Elite category with highlights being a victory in the World Cup and the title of 2011 Vice World Champion.
We wish him all the best and are looking forward to witnessing the battle between Abel and our ambassador Benito Ros!

Hannes Hermann joins Koxx
We also have the pleasure of announcing a new recruit to our team with the arrival of Hannes Hermann. His progression has seen him snapping at the heels of the world’s best in many competitions. We can’t wait to see his first international podium under the Koxx flag and we’re convinced that he’ll do big things with us! (a small exclusive on his 2012 season is in preparation, more info to follow…)
