Tribal Zine joined forces with Digital Direct Multimédia to offer you the best photos of the 2010 Trials World Championships. The photos have been taken by Michel Roy, one of the best photographers in Quebec. Michel is a member of the Corporation des Maîtres Photographes du Québec, of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionnals) and has a regular column in the prestigious Canadian magazine PhotoNews and will have a photo on the cover of the next issue. He has also recently distinguished himself in photography circles in Quebec by winning some prestigious prizes (the wildlife category Grand Prix and the Jamboree snowboard photo contest). All of the world’s great sportsmen have been shot through the lens of Michel’s Canon Mark III 1DS; his house is like a museum, with signed photos everywhere!
He really enjoyed shooting the world’s best trials riders in Mont Sainte-Anne… “Like all Canadians who were at the competition, I was really impressed by this discipline. I’d heard of it before and used to have fun doing things a bit like it on my bike when I was younger… but this was another dimension!” Here then are the Trials World Championships as seen by Michel Roy, with an initial gallery dedicated to Belgian Kenny Belaey who took his fourth Elite world title in Mont Sainte-Anne, four years after his victory in Rotorua, with a 14 point lead over the other two medallists! We’ll leave you to enjoy the photos… click on a photo to see them using the Lightbox plugin where you can zoom in or view as a slideshow. Thanks Michel!
