Jeff Anderson and Steve Dickin are two international competitors from Vancouver, the largest city in Western Canada, situated in British Columbia and currently playing host to the Winter Olympic Games. Jeff finished in sixth place in the BIU World Championships in Tang Ping and Steve came seventh. Jeff and Steve both also compete on the UCI circuit finishing 16th and 26th respectively in the Canberra World Championships last year. In 2007 they formed a team to promote the sport in Canada, calling it “Trials Stars”. They promote the sport through their videos, which they upload to their website (www.trialsstars.com) and their excellent shows, which they put on at various large events throughout the year, with their own modular demo rig.
Here are their two latest videos, filmed on the streets of Vancouver, with plenty of big moves and technical lines. The riding and the editing are top notch! Steve, after eleven years riding 26”, is now riding a 20” Rockman Aurem: “I’ve only ever ridden stock in the past. In fact, when I first started riding, the Canadian pros used to make fun of 20” bikes. These days I don’t care what other people think. I bought the bike, I’m riding well and more importantly, I’m having fun. After all, isn’t that the most important thing?” So sit back and enjoy these well-edited videos, you’ll see for yourself that Steve is getting on very well with his 20”. To see more videos of these two talented riders, head over to www.trialsstars.com! You can also see the long version of the Vancouver video, which is excellent.
The guys are currently looking for sponsors for their team…
