Australian trials rider, Janine Jungfels, is excited to announce she will be riding for Trialtech Components in 2013. Janine will be riding a Trialtech equipped bike with mechanical support provided by ExpressiveBikes in Australia, Ricco Bikes in Europe and lubes and cleaners from Ride Mechanic.
Trials riders like Janine compete in arguably the most technical discipline of cycling where they are required to negotiate a large variety of obstacles such as rocks, logs, cars, barrels and even earth moving equipment without taking their feet off the pedals. The demands trials puts on the athlete’s bicycle means that reliable components are essential to a rider’s success.
Janine is coming off a successful 2012 season when she took two 1st places and a 3rd in the World Cup series. Unfortunately her World Championships was not as successful with Janine finishing in 6th place overall. Janine said that
“after some successful World Cup results last season I’ve been really motivated to train for the 2013 season. I’m really excited to have Trialtech supporting my campaign and I am looking forward to this season.”
Janine’s 2013 deal with Trialtech has been made possible with additional support from well known Trialtech dealers, ExpressiveBikes in Australia and Ricco Bikes in Europe. ExpressiveBikes has been a long term sponsor of Janine and as the Australian dealer for Trialtech components will be providing Janine with the support she needs for her Australian and International campaigns.
ExpressiveBikes owner Tim Mullaly is excited to be working with Janine for another season saying “Janine is an extremely motivated athlete who has achieved some amazing results in a sport that receives very little coverage in Australia. With the best components provided for her bike by Trialtech Janine will be able to focus in on her training and preparation for the 2013 season.”
This year the World Cup season is based entirely in Europe where Janine will have the support of Ricco Bikes from the Netherlands. For an Australian rider, making the trip to compete in Europe is a difficult and expensive undertaking. The support provided by Ricco Bikes and owner Rick Koekoek will help ease this burden for Janine.
