Seventeen year old Tribal Rider Jamie Bew has recently made the move to 26”. He is now riding for Tribal Zine and The Bike Outlet on a 26” Monty Kamel XXV. A dedicated member of the Tyke Trial club, Jamie competes regularly in club rounds and in the British National Cup, finishing on the podium more often than not. Not only is he a great young rider, Jamie is one of the friendliest and most enthusiastic riders we have ever come across, always with a smile on his face and an encouraging word for his fellow competitors. In 2010 Jamie was awarded the Ben Carlile Trophy for the Tyke Trial member who has contributed the most to the club during the season, and he certainly deserves it!
A keen competitor, Jamie finished third overall in the British National Trials Cup in Expert class and won the 2010 Tyke Trial Club Championship, also in Expert.
Jamie has filmed his first few rides on board his new grown-up’s bike and sent us this neat little video. The hours of practice on rocks and street show through; Jamie goes big and is obviously taking well to the bigger wheels! Enjoy!
