PNG - 289.8 kb The company Koxx shattered after several years with important financial losts and huge debts, leaving clients, riders, suppliers, dealers and comercial partners in a very bad situation without even providing an explanation. Yesterday, Dom Hermance, founder of Koxx which he launched in december of 2000 and sold in april 2013, published an announcement yesterday. He admitted errors in the past with some too dearing growing plans and big waste. And he also announced his return to business with the launch of a new brand: Hashtagg with the people who started Koxx with him. "We take a new start, like we dreamed of, but way sooner than planned".   Gilles Coustellier who won 6 french titles, 5 european titles and 4 world titles, is saying that all this is a scam and he is one of many victims along with other koxx riders. He talks openly : "Stop fooling people, Mr Hermance".

JPEG - 217.9 kb Hello everybody,

I wish to share with you my opinion on koxx’s Bankruptcy . It is a sad news but it is even sader for the people who trusted koxx and the riders under contract with koxx (like me).

On my part, Koxx owned me price money and bikes. All of this is lost due to the bankruptcy. You can image what a lost it is for me.

The koxx company didn’t even have the courtesy to inform me by mail or by phone. They preferred letting the judicial representative, Mr Christian Guyot.

Upon receipt of the letter informing me about koxx’s bankruptcy, I called Mr Dominique Hermance, manager of Koxx. He told me that he didn’t have anything to do with koxx anymore. Why such a lie ? Mr Hermance was manager until september 2013 !

He could have, at least, out of respect (for all I have done for koxx over the past years) given me the phone number of the new owner, Mr Patrouillard. But Mr Hermance told me that he didn’t have his number. Strange reply  when you know that they were co-owners of Koxx.

I am going to talk about Koxx in reponse of the offical announcement made by Dominique Hermance.

There is a moment, Mr Hermance, when you have to stop fooling people. If Koxx has canned, this is entirely your fault. Just take a look at Koxx’s financial results in 2012 and before : the company was loosing a lot of money. And even with this bad financial situation, you kepts on scamming people. And the worth of all, is that, in the last announcement you made regarding your new brand, you are trying to obtain pity by sharing your private life.

I also read that Dom will be launching a new frame brand. Mr Hermance didn’t even wait for the end of Koxx to create his new brand, it was registered before the brankruptcy of koxx.

All of this really make me believe that the end of Koxx WAS PLANNED !

We can also read in Dom’s announcement that « it is out of question to present a bike which had half of its components taken out a chinese catalog ». That would make perfect sense because Mr Hermance is not welcome in Taiwan anymore. To summerize, it’s not Mr Hermance who doesn’t want components from China, but it’s china who doesn’t want to work with him !

Stop the role reversal ! Stop making people think that it’s possible to create a bike with 100% european components on it after all these years of dealing with chinese suppliers.

I do not believe in the sudden change of direction. I just hope people won’t get fooled in buying this kind of product.

In all of this, I am just sadden by the fact that I contributed to the evolution of koxx and at the end, I didn’t not get any respect for my contribution. I think that this is the mentality of the Hermance family.

I wrote that announcement to share what I had in my heart and I really hope that what I worte will be taken into consideration.

I will be announcing shortly my new sponser whith whom I will work hard to win ! Gilles Coustellier.
