This is one of the best videos that we’ve seen from a street rider since Danny Mac’s famous opus. Dominik Raab’s 100% street trials autumn video is incredible!
Domink is 25 years old and is sponsored by UMF (United Merida Freeriders), the trials, dirt, freeride and downhill branch of Merida Bikes. He started riding trials in 1997 and began by riding in competitions, with considerable success (Austrian Champion, 6th in the European Championship, 15th in the World Championship) before turning pro in 2007 and focussing on shows throughout Austria and the rest of the world (Sweden, China, etc.) and on producing videos.
The lines and moves in his latest opus are monstrous and he pulls them with disconcerting ease and fluidity. All of the ingredients for a good street video are there: bunny hops, manuals, rails, nose wheelies, reverse manuals, tailwhips, spins and combos and even a couple of backflips. The video was filmed and edited by Tobias Plank, with a few multi-cam and rolling shots. We think it’s almost as good as Danny Mac’s April 09 video and have watched an re-watched it several times already.
