Carles Diaz is certainly one of the most talented and popular Spanish riders of the moment. He is one of the last guardians of the “old school” of Spanish trials and figured in the top 10 Elite 20! Riders for a number of years, riding for three of the top companies. Carles recently left his native Majorca to go and live in Germany, and this video was filmed in Riedelbach, on the sections that will play host to the European Championships on 21st and 22nd July. Behind the camera is jörn “Mister Limelight” Henrici, who filmed Carles in training, linking rocks and logs together with his usual style and awesome power. The years don’t seem to have taken much toll on the man who was renowned as one of the most powerful Elite riders in the world. See for yourself…
