It’s back to school in style with our partners Trialprod, who received a large delivery of new products a few days ago from brands such as Echo, Zoo, Gu Tensile et Rockman, which have gradually been added to their site. These new products include the new Echo, Zoo and Gu frames, Echo TR rims and the new freewheels (72, 96 and 108 angagements points) and the new superlight Rockman cranks which we recently featured.
Here’s an overview of all of the new components that have recently been added to the Trialprod catalogue. Top quality products at very low prices!
A few days ago we featured a short article on the new Rockman cranks and they are now available from Trialprod. These superb bits of kit have been forged from high quality 7075 Aluminium and the CNC machined, with an offset designed to avoid contact with HS33 pistons. These cranks are superlight at just 426g for the 175mm version and 420g for the 165mm version and are offered at the more than reasonable price of €99!
The 96 engagement point Tensile freewheel... The classic has been redesigned and improved both visually (a superb combination of black, gold and white) and technically, with 36 more pawls than the previous model! This little beauty has 18 teeth, can be removed using a Shimano BB tool, weighs just 181g and is available for just €59!
The Echo TR 72 Freewheel, has 72 engagements points and six pawls that work in threes. It has a clever feature in that the outer ring is situated on the crank side of the freewheel body (rather than the frame side as with most other freewheels), which means that it cannot come undone. Very interesting! These are available for €44
The new Echo SL 108 Freewheel, has, as the name suggest, 108 engagements points and nine pawls that work in threes, ensuring a very rapid pick-up. Hub’ has opened one of them up in order to show us the robust and reliable mechanism inside. As with the TR model, the outer ring is on the crank side. These are available for just €67!
The new alu TR stems, with a new oversize (31.8mm) two-bolt clamp to save weight, are available in three sizes to fit all kinds of frames on the market, at a unique price of €39:
- 100mm x 38 degrees for kids frames,
- 125mm x 28 degrees for high BB 26” frames,
- 130mm x 38 degrees for taller riders
- Géométrie 125mm x 28 degrees for 20" frames.
Echo TR brake mounts for direct fitting (no plastic ring), machined from aluminium, just 44g & 28€!
flasque Echo TR bashguard machined from aluminium with an asymmetric shape to reduce weight. Just 30g & 24€ !
Echo Urban bashguard machined from 7075 aluminium with a super sturdy design; 6mm thick with a toothed outer edge for increased grip. Drilled to save weight. 59g & 28€!
The Echo TR brake booster, 6061-T6 aluminium, machined from aluminium, this is perfect for stiffening your brake and protected crossover hoses. 54g & 28€!
Echo TR front non-disc hub, machined from aluminium, with a 2014 alu body and 7075 axle (solid), it weighs in at just 71g (97g with bolts and washers) and is available for €40.
Echo TR front disc hub, the same features at the non disc hub, except with a disc mount. 110g (136g with bolts and washers), 45€.
The Echo TR 20" rear hub, machined from aluminium with a 2014 alu body and cro-mo axle, sealed bearings, Echo cro-mo snail cam tensioners. 186g (212g with bolts and washers) 55€.

The Echo TR 26" rear hub, machined from aluminium with a 2104 alu body, cro-mo axle, sealed bearings, 193g (219g with bolts and washers), 55€.
Echo threaded cogs, machined from tempered steel, available in 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16t sizes at just €18.
Echo Snail Cams, machined from cro-mo steel, they are not as easily damaged as alu snail cams. Their outer edge is grooved so that they do not move once set up and the small size of these grooves allows very precise adjustment. For those of you who are sick of having to constantly adjust your tensioners, these are the ideal choice; once set up, they don’t move. 22g & 15€.

- Echo TR 20 front rim, single wall, 32h, 20mm drilled holes, 37mm wide, just 472g & 35€!
- Echo TR 19 rear rim, double wall, 32h, 20mm drilled holes, 44mm wide, just 528g & 39€!
