French R1 Champion Maxime Muffat, a 15 year old lad from Megève who started riding trials just over two years ago, has joined the Ozonys Team 2.

Last year he became the Vice-Champion in the Rhône-Alpes region in National and won the Rhône-Alpes Cup in the same category. His ambitions for 2010 are regional, national and international: he has set his sights on the titles of Rhône-Alpes Champion, French Champion in national category and Cadet World Champion, and also want to get into the top 50 in the world in 20”! A few days ago he competed in the first round of the Rhône-Alpes Cup and finished in third place in Expert-Junior.

Here’s a video of this promising young rider, filmed at a training session last month on the rocks of the Médonnet Forest. The video was edited by his cousin Thierry, another Ozonys rider who is currently in second place in the Rhône-Alpes Cup in National category.
