The first ever official competition to be held in Iran took place in February in Tehran. The traditional competition organised each year in the capital took place for the first time under the aegis of the Iranian Bike Trial Federation. Here’s a collection of photos from the event, which took place on big, artificial sections and was won by two riders with whom we are already familiar, Amir Mohamadi Nejad in 26" (Amir Mohamadi Nejad, a Tribal Rider from Tehran) and Mehrshad Aghdaei in 20" (Street in Tehran). You can find a full report from the competition here: The 2011 Tehran Contest and a video should follow soon. Bravo to these passionate trials riders for all of their effort in organising the event and halping the sport to grow in their country!
