The new Ozonys range is particularly well designed and sets itself apart from the competition with its various technical innovations. The new Cannibals, which arrived on the market at the start of September are the first to be produced with a variable geometry: three possible settings and each rider can test and chose the geometry that suits them without having to change frames! The chain tensioning system is equally novel: it guarantees optimum tension, with the chain and tensioner completely protected behind the chainstay, with the chainline adjusting itself automatically thanks to a sliding pivot on a set of rollers. The whole design of the frame has been rethought in order to produce a bike that is lighter and yet stronger at the same time (internally lightened headtube, lightened BB shell, recalculated tube thicknesses, CNC machined booster, etc.). A new ultralight fork (740g) has also been developed for the new range. This makes the Cannibal one of the lightest bikes on the market at a feather weight of just 9.4kg for the full HS33 production model, a weight which we were able to verify recently on our Park Tools scales. The bike also has a distinctive and classy design. The standard version combines fluro green with black and white, giving it a very factory look. The “dark” version, which adopts the graphics and deco from the Cannibal clothing range, is very nice too!
It was the Cannibal Black that arrived on the market first, and which we presented to you at the start of September in our article The Ozonys Cannibal Black Light.
