Milkyway is proud to announce the creation of the new “MilkyWay Biketrials Factory Racing Team” for the 2013 season. Part of the team will be the 8 times Italian UCI Champion Paolo “Pool” Patrizi and the 3 times junior Italian BIU champion Alessandro Allegretti. By creating a highly competitive Racing Team MilkyWay aims to achieve great results both in BIU and in UCI, competing in the 2013 World, European and Italian Championships.
Pool Patrizi has been the main MilkyWay official tester since the very beginning of the company’s history and it is a pleasure for us having him as a part of our team. Pool is, at present, the best Italian UCI trials rider and the facts are on his side: he won 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 Elite Italian Championships and Cups.
For 2013, Pool is searching to improve his riding and go for a great revenge in the world championship as well defend his premiership in Italy. He is highly motivated thanks to his new bike: an especially pimped custom bike which is being continuously tuned and improved in the MilkyWay Factory, where performance and innovation are a real obsession.
Besides, Milkyway is happy to welcome into the ”Milky Family” the Italian junior BIU champion Alessandro Allegretti, the brighter rising star of Italian Biketrials.
Milkyway strongly believe in Alessandro having a great career in front of him, because of his steadiness in training and of his attention to detail. Alessandro will race the 2013 World Junior BIU Championship with a bike which has been especially customized for him, basing on the same performance criteria used for Pool’s bike and with an attention to the specific rider’s requirements.
With its Factory Racing idea MilkyWay want to start a new approach to the biketrials competitions where riders are actually supported by the company with a full racing service by the MilkyWay company. This has an immediate reflection on the biketrials people also, because the exact mountings of Pool’s and Alessandro’s bike will be available in the MilkyWay Shop at a price of 2200€, which is really competitive with all other mountings around.
