Last year, Tribal Zine unveiled the 2010 Speed Race range. The new frame at that point was the Solo, which was available in 20” & 26”, and had everything that even the most dedicated and experienced competitors could want: a classy design, an up-to-date geometry (26” - 1090mm wheelbase and +50 BB; 20” – 1020mm wheelbase and +60 BB), a very reasonable weight (1687g), and a lovely-looking paint job borrowed from the Ozonys XR26, with the UCI colours on the rear end. Now here’s a preview of the 2011 model, which has been updated quite significantly: the BB shell has been cut away, the headtube has been lightened à la Koxx Sky (not the only feature that will call to mind Koxx’s flagship model) and the test-bike has been kitted out with some ultra-light parts (carbon bar, one-piece machined fork, Ti BB and bash, Spped Race carbon hubs, etc.).
