Speed Race are best known for producing frames, which Tribal Zine have taken great pleasure in presenting to you. The spearhead of this range, aimed at competitors, is the Solo 2010, which is going to evolve in 2011 into a model which follows the famous Koxx Sky in adopting a cut-away BB shell. Speed Race are also developing a whole range of top of the range components. Over the last few months Cao Gong, Cang, the head of the Peking group Easy Bike, has been showing us exclusive images of prototypes of their forged stems, very much inspired by the new Try-All stems, their 7075-T6 aluminium and carbon hubs, and also an aluminium prototype of their new carbon forks. He has also shown us the first shots of the future Speed Race carbon handlebars. They feature 3D butting a 31.8mm clamp diameter, 717mm width, 91mm rise and have a 12.5° upsweep and 9° backsweep. It is expected to weigh in at just 208g.
