Sam Oliver is a 17 year old rider from the UK who has a spectacular progression curve, which you can follow in his astonishing videos that he regularly puts on the web. His trophy cabinet is already impressive; sponsored by Tartybikes, K-124 UK, TSG & Trident, Sam has won the titles of 2006 British Minime Champion, 2007 British Cadet Champion, 2008 UCI Junior British Champion and this year became the 2009 UCI Junior British Champion at Shipley Glen. He has also added a third place in the 2008 Cadet World Championship to his collection! This year Sam competed on the BIU circuit, finishing fourth in the Tang Ping World Championshipand won the final of the new Bike Trial European Cup at Hook Woods!
This British rider, who is alreay quite the talking point on the competition scene and on the web, has recently changed sponsors: he is now riding for fast-selling Singapore brand Rockman and UK brand Trialtech! His main objective for this year is the UCI Junior world title!
Sam told us a bit about his new ride; "I’m really please with this build and how it rides. It’s lighter than my Koxx, which I had for just over a year. After just two rides I already feel much more comfortable on the Aurem." He sent us some photos of his new beats and some shots from his first ride on it at the Castle Skills indoor trials centre. For more info on Sam and his bike, head over to the Trialtech site or Sam’s homepage!
