The new Ozonys website was put online on Wednesday the 6th of May. It’s much better than the old one, which used Flash , which gives impressive visual effects, but is not completely compatible with all web browsers and is not really suited to an information site designed to showcase a brand’s products, news and updates. Ozonys felt that their website was not achieving its full potential, and this new site is a lot simpler, having been developped using html by Bruno Arnold himself. More importantly, it contains all of the information that you would expect from such a dynamic brand, with a presentation of all their bikes and accessories, news, riders, media and much more! An English version of the site will follow.
All of the 2008 range of bikes are present, as well as the new 2009 range which will be available in a few weeks: the new Cannibal 2009 & Curve 26! You can also see the first 3D images of the new Curve 20 frame, which we will present in more detail at the same time as it appears on the Ozonys site in the next few days.
Le prototype...
Exploring the site, you can also find the photos of the new Ozonys 20 & 26 forks, the published weight of which is just 800g!
The new Cannibal jacket...
The Team page also has some interesting surprises. Three talented Spanish riders have joined Team 1: Carlos Vasquez, who shot onto the scene last Summer with his incredible street video (Carlos Vasquez... Bestial!) and who finished in 15th place at the first round of the World Cup in Ripoll, just behind Loris Braun.
Pablo Bravo, 25th at Ripoll...
Street rider David Sellero, who is part of the new Spanish street scene, which he will tell us about in the near future...
You will note the presence of Swiss champion Roger Keller in team 2. Finishing in 7th place in the 2008 World Cup, Roger put in a great performance in Ripoll and took 6th place!
Also on Team 2 is Max Koch (Max Koch in action).
More surprises await on the media page, with a German TV report featuring Max Koch, and some great photo galleries of:
Guillaume Dunand with some street "training"...
Carlos Vasquez, training at the beach...
David Sellero, with some big street moves on his XR 20...
It’s a very full and informative site! Get surfing at www.ozonys.com!
