We recently showed you a video of top Hungarian rider Hegedus László at the Hungarian Cup, which took place in Miskolc on the 11th of April (Hegedus László by Legendary Joe). The first big meeting of the Hungarian season took place over six sections composed of impressive artificial obstacles (cable reels, recycling blocks, concrete pipes, etc.). All of the country’s best riders turned out on the day, but the competition was dominated by Hegedus László and Ádám Erdélyi (Ádám Erdélyi, le Champion de Hongrie), with László taking victory in both 20" and 26".
Here are the results of the competition, as well as some excellent photos taken by Peter, aka Empix, a 24 year old photography and trials fanatic who knows Adam Ederlyi, Hegedus & Stefan Lazlo well and who only took up photography recently, buying his first digital Reflex this winter. He’s been addicted to extreme sports photgraphy (trials & BMX) ever since, and regularly snaps the Hungarian Elite riders. Here are some of his best photos from the Elite 20" competition, soon to be followed by some of the Elite 26" competition, an interview with the current Hungarian Champion and K-124 Days by Empix!
Elite 20" :
- 1. Hegedus László
- 2. Erdélyi Ádám
- 3. Mátyási Zoltán
