Tribal Zine joined forces with Digital Direct Multimédia to offer you the best photos of the 2010 Trials World Championships. The photos have been taken by Michel Roy, one of the best photographers in Quebec. Michel is a member of the Corporation des Maîtres Photographes du Québec, of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionnals) and has a regular column in the prestigious Canadian magazine PhotoNews and will have a photo on the cover of the next issue. He has also recently distinguished himself in photography circles in Quebec by winning some prestigious prizes (the wildlife category Grand Prix and the Jamboree snowboard photo contest). All of the world’s great sportsmen have been shot through the lens of Michel’s Canon Mark III 1DS; his house is like a museum, with signed photos everywhere!
Following the first gallery, dedicated to the new World Champion Kenny Belaey, a second dedicated to the phenomenal Benito Ros), here’s a third gallery of Marc Caisso in what was his last ever international competition. All good things must come to an end, even the best. “The Cat” bowed out in style in Mont Sainte-Anne, like a true master. He took the bronze medal, only just missing out on the silver (he was on equal points with Benito but had no cleans, compared with Benito’s one)! Still, it’s another prestigious medal to add to his collection… Marc has won no less than three World Championships, four European Championships and seven French Championships! It’s hard to imagine world trials without Marc Caisso… one of the best pages of trials history is turning. Thanks Marc, for everything that you have done for the sport and for all of the spectacles that you have provided over the last twenty years!
