Sergio, the master of trial photography, was on hand with his team at the Tour de Scay this weekend to photograph the Elite and Super-Elite riders as they competed in extreme conditions on sections more difficult than are found anywhere else. On Saturday evening he brought us photos of the riders warming up, followed the next day by a gallery dedicated to the winner, Benito Ros, who dominated both rounds of the Super-Elite competition. Iciar Vandenbergh showed himself to be an impressive force… the young Belgian had a dazzling start to his season. He went big every time, rather than taking the safe option, and finished eighth in the Elite competition.

Supermance, third in Super Elite, separated on most 1s from Gilles Coustellier. The Koxx rider is on great form and the 2010 season looks set to be an interesting one!
Abel Mustieles rode all weekend with his mentor Benito Ros and wasfascinating to watch. The Junior rider got through on of the more difficult Super-Elite sections with a punctured front tyre!
World Champion Benito Ros was certainly in charge all weekend.
