After a good five hours on the road the Tribal Zine staff arrived at their destination… La Tour de Scay! At 00:30 the organisers were still up to welcome us. The accommodation is great and already we’re missing Buthiers less… After a good night’s sleep we’ll be having an early breakfast and heading out to check out the site. It’s a marvellous place that many of us are visiting for the first time and that has already hosted a round of the BIU World Championship in 2008. The Elite sections are monstrous. The first Elite and Super-Elite rounds will take place at the end of the afternoon on 100% natural sections. The level is even higher here than at Buthiers, everything is higher up and more technical! The second round and the final will take place lower down the site on imported rocks and will demand a lot from the riders. Results and photos from the first round will be up in French this evening and in English as soon as possible! A big thanks to the Rémy family, oall of the organisers and the K-124 staf for allowing us to cover the event once again.
