Tribal Zine will soon be putting online the official K-124 Days video, filmed in HD using 3 cameras (Marcus Gelhard, Nicolas Ollier & Nicolas Marsac) and steady-cam equipment, which will bring together all of the highlights of the weekend (for the teaser, go to article K-124 Days Teaser by Tribal Zine). It will also include a series of exclusive interviews (Gilles Coustellier, Vincent Hermance and organiser Alain Rémy) which were taken mid-competition between the two rounds. The editing is being carried out by Marcus Gelhard, an audio-visual editing student, who recently brought us the brilliant biketrial documentary Trials, a Fascinating Sport. He’s had a minor setback, sue to military service still being in force in Germany, but began editing this weekend and the video should be ready soon!
While we wait, Lucien, of Optimistic Production, who brought us the video Koxxdays 2008 by Tribal Zone, has produced an excellent video of the weekend. Since he didn’t have an HD camera, he’s made a separate video, which shows how good a weekend it really was. He used a fisheye lens, which unfortunately distorts the images a bit and doesn’t show just how big the sections actually were, but nevertheless, it’s an excellent video… enojoy!
