Trial Mag 44 is out now! Tribal Zine are still onvolved, and after the group test of four top-of-the-range 26” bikes (Koxx Black Sky, Ozonys Cannibal Black Light, Rockman Slate and TMS Evo 3 –see Tribal Zine & Trial Mag), we bring you a new adventure… a group test of four top-of-the-range dual disc 20” bikes, carried out in extreme weather conditions at a spot to the south of Paris. Among the bikes tested are the two new bikes of the moment: the Monty Kamel XXV and the Ozonys Curve, tested for you in a world exclusive! At the time of testing, these bikes were still not on the market, and they have only been available for a few days now. Alongside these two ‘hot potatoes’ are a bike that proved itself again and again in 2008 and has been ‘remastered’ in 2009, the famous Koxx Hydroxx, and a top-of-the-range build from Echo, a bike that we are seeing more and more of in the sections, the Lite. The test is eight pages long and quite comprehensive – it’s the best test we’ve written and even our most demanding readers should enjoy and appreciate it…
In this issue you will also find some an article written by our partner Sergio: a very interesting and comprehensive interview with the man himself… Toni Bou! They talk a bit about bikes; Toni is a big biketrials fan and draws a lot of inspiration from the discipline… “I ride a lot of biketrials and am constantly looking for techniques that I can use on my motorbike. This allows me to see things in a different way and find new ways of negotiating obstacles”. When asked whether he was ever scared before riding a section, Toni replied “yes, of getting a five…” What a hero! The magazine also features a double sided moto/bike poster with a superb photo of Kenny Belaey in New Zealand, and a trials calendar with Dani Comas (photographed riding street in Barcelona by Sergio) as Mr December!
