Sebastian Hopfe and Thomas Helbig are two german riders who got into trials in the 90’s and have never looked back. In 2005 they began to ride together amd formed the Super Trialshow team, putting on shows, entering competitions and offering trials trainingm with the hope of one day being able to make a living from their passion. In the same year Sebastian took the title of East-German Champion. In 2006 they performed their first shows together with their own rig, and entered their first national and international competitions. In the next few years they formed “Fahrtechniktraining”, a trials school offering training for beginners and more experienced riders alike, all over Germany. In 2008 a new partnership with Scott allowed the guys to take things to the next level. These two trials fanatics are pretty much permanently on the road, putting on professional shows, getting new riders into trials and entering competitions. On the 9th of May 2009 they took part in the European Cup in Brezova in the Czech Republic; Sebastian finished sixth and Thomas eleventh.
on the 24th of October Sebastian was crowned East-German Elite Champion once more, while Thomas came in third.
Here’s a new video of these two talented and passionate riders in a skate park. It is an incredibly stylish video, edited by Martin Hentze, a German multimedia and design student. It is definitely one of the most elaborate and well-put-together videos that we’ve seen for a long time, with some cool and impressive effects. We can only imagine the hours of work that it must have taken to produce these four minutes of video! Enjoy…
