Our partners Photo by Sergio have sent us another best of video, and it’s awesome: Following the best of videos of Toni Bou), Supermance, Benito Ros and Dani Comas, Sergio brings you a summary of his best clips of the undisputed king of 26” trials, the No.1 K-124/Koxx rider, French, European and World Champion since 2008, Gilles Coustellier!
What can we say? It’s a work of art. It shows all of the highlights of his 2009 season, starting with the enormous K-124 Days sections, where Gilles took the victory on sections that the hundreds of spectators had thought were impssible. Next its off to Heubach in Germany, where the big boss showed that despite it all, he is still only human: here, at the second round of the World Cup, Gilles, for the first time in a long time, had to bow before King Kenny, who put in an excellent second lap and drew level with Gilles in the overall standings! Then it’s back to France for the French round of the World Cup in Saint-François Longchamp, which was particularly intense: it was a veritable clash of the titans with the top two K-124 riders going head-to-head,
and Gilles beat Vincent Hermance, who was on great form, by just one point. The final part of the video features more recent footage, filmed at a training session on the 30th October at the legendary and very technical Saint-Blaise quarry. Gilles shows some incredible precision on his new Grey Sky. Put briefly, it’s a sporting hero at the top of his game, immortalised by the master!
