Here is a video filmed in one afternoon in which the top rider Ali C is riding in London streets... He shows out his skills with a so tipically British style.
Alastair Clarkson, aka « Ali C », is one of the best British riders. He got known by competing (He does competition since approximately 10 years and currently rides in the Elite category on the international scene) and on the street scene, where he imposed his style and creativity. Since the end of last year, his main sponsors are K-124.co.uk for bikes and Trialtech and Tartybikes for components.
For some months, he rode on a Yaabaa 1499, before receiving the prototype of a new model from the same brand in May : the "Stinger", which he contributed to develop (Ali C new weapon). This bike is originally designed for a street oriented use, but with a geometry and a lightness that makes it versatile and perfectly suitable for a natural use. It has been available since the beginning of August and Max’ from the K-124 House of Coulommiers, gave us the first pictures and the last geometry. The serie model has a longer chainstay length and a higher BB, horizontal dropouts and a nice, classy and shiny grey paintwork (Koxx Foxx 26" & Yaabaa Stinger). Ali now rides on the serie Stinger and we recently told you about his first feelings on the bike and we also showed you photos of his complete bike which weighs 9,82 kilos (Ali C’s Yaabaa Stinger). On this bike, he has had some success on the Bike Trial scene : in August he took part in the Dressler Camp 2009 and won everything (the trick contest, the competition, etc...) and on the last 20 th of September Hook Woods, he ended up as third of the British championship !
Joel Bennett yesterday uploaded a new video, filmed in one afternoon, in which the top rider Ali C is riding. He shows out his skills with an incredible and tipically British style. You will particularly appreciate the impressive drop on the front with start on a fence and landing on a high and narrow wall, or these incredible rotations between walls, directly inspired from Sir MacAskill ! The successful editing makes the whole even better. Enjoy...
