Inpulse is a new brand on the trials scene that appeared on the ever-expanding market at the end of last year (see Inpulse Racing Bikes). Launched by Elite rider Cédric Fontenoy, Inpulse is the result of a lot of planning and development. Cédric has been producing his own bikes for several years now and the current incarnation is something quite special. He therefore decided to realise his dream and create his own trials brand, with his brother Aurélian, the N°1 rider in the Rhône-Alpes region, one of the best Elite riders in France and in the World (Junior 20" & 26" World Champion in 2007, 4thin the European Championship in Zoertemeer and 6th in the Canberra World Championship en 2009), as ambassador!

The 26" and 20" Inpulse models are now available. Last week we gav e you closer look at Inpulse R26 and now here’s one of the Inpulse R20 in all its glory. Like it’s bigger brother it sets itself apart from its peers with it’s singular frame, designed to optimise stiffness and weight at both the front and rear ends with the cross tube and double seat tubes. The chain tensioning system seems just as well thought out; simple, compact and out of harm’s way and above all, light. This 20" doesn’t have a bash plate, it comes with a replaceable integrated freewheel protector as featured on the R26, optimising protection whichever foot is forward. The headtube has been cut away, as with most top-of-the-range models these days, but so has the BB shell, which is something that you don’t see on many bikes! With its long and high geo, the R20 is designed for UCI riding, and with features like these it should please even the most demanding of competitors. See for yourself, here are the photos:
